A method of treating dermatological conditions in a subject in need thereof, comprising topically administering to a skin surface of the subject an effective amount of a formulation comprising from about 0.001 to about 0.5 wt % podophyllotoxin or a podophyllotoxin derivative, for a period of time sufficient to reduce the severity of the dermatological condition.
