Provided are a method for connecting different communication terminals to the same cell, base station and terminal, the method comprising: acquiring a first working band and a second working band respectively corresponding to a first communication terminal and a second communication terminal having different working bands to be supported by an evolved Node B (101); selecting a system monitoring bandwidth symmetrical relative to the central frequency point of a cell, the system monitoring bandwidth being not greater than a minimum bandwidth value in the first working band and the second working band (102); and broadcasting a system monitoring bandwidth via a first system broadcast message, and broadcasting system information SIB in the system monitoring bandwidth, such that after obtaining the system monitoring bandwidth, the first-type communication terminal and the second-type communication terminal monitoring the first system broadcast message can monitor on the system monitoring bandwidth the SIB for accessing the cell. The present invention supports different working bands and different system bandwidths in the same cell, such that the communication terminals supporting different working bands can access the same cell. |
