<p>The invention provides a method and system for enabling a user to identify one or more media items which the user or another party has previously accessed, the method comprising the steps of: recording in a computer readable storage medium concurrent attributes concerning one or more events or computer system states occurring concurrently with the previous access of the media items by the user or other party, the concurrent attributes not being attributes of the media items or attributes of the previous access of the media items by the user or other party; receiving from the user a search request specification which includes one or more specified concurrent attributes; accessing the recorded concurrent attributes and identifying to the user one or more of the previously accessed media items which satisfy the search request specification.</p> |
