The invention concerns a mechanical system (10), forming a cam follower or a rocker arm, the mechanical system (10) comprising: a support element (20); a pin (30) extending between two opposite ends along a first axis (Y10) and supported by the support element (20); and a roller (40) movable in rotation relative to the pin (30) around the first axis (Y10) and adapted to roll on a cam (3). The support element (20) includes an inner cavity (24) in which the roller (40) is at least partially arranged and which is adapted to contain an oil bath (100) for lubricating the roller (40). The invention also concerns a follower device (2), an injection pump or a valve actuator, comprising such a mechanical system (10).
