<p>A switching arrangement has a first contact set and a second contact set which can be moved with respect to the first contact set, and an insulating nozzle arrangement. The insulating nozzle arrangement is supported on the first contact set which includes a first arcing contact piece. The first arcing contact piece can be moved with respect to the insulating nozzle arrangement.</p>
