The present invention relates to digital radio devices and an operating method thereof. The present invention enables individual radio devices to individually transmit the data stored therein while processing the reception data transmitted from other multiple individual radio devices at the same time in order to implement a multipoint and simultaneous call function. The present invention also uses frequency channel scanning and frequency channel hopping to share a channel in order to relieve the channel shortage. The present invention includes the radio devices configuring a communication environment for multiple entities by using a time division scheme, a frequency division scheme, and a hybrid scheme of the time and frequency division. The radio devices can operate as caller radio devices, receiver radio devices, and transceiver radio devices. Accordingly, the present invention enables simultaneous calls faster than the calls executed by existing radio devices using half-duplex communication and enables calls between the individual radio devices respectively without a central radio device in a conventional multipoint two-way radio communication system using full-duplex communication. The present invention can solve the frequency channel shortage no matter how many groups are in the same location. |
