According to an embodiment of the present invention, a light emitting device comprises: a light emitting structure including a first semiconductor layer; an active layer formed under the first semiconductor layer; a second semiconductor layer formed under the active layer; a first electrode layer arranged under the light emitting structure, electrically connected to the second semiconductor layer; a second electrode layer arranged under the light emitting structure and is electrically connected to the first semiconductor layer; an insulation layer arranged between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer; and a pad arranged on an outer side of the sidewall of the light emitting structure, and arranged on a contact part of the first electrode layer. A lower side of the pad is lower than a lower side of the light emitting structure; and at least one of the lower side of the pad and the contact part of the first electrode layer includes a protrusion. |
