CATALYTIC HYDROGEN BURNER SETUP

An oxidant supply system of a hydrogen catalytic burner respectively a hydrogen catalytic burner setup are improved to show high efficiency and controllable homogenous distribution of the combustible and the oxidant, leading to a needful combustible/oxidant ratio in the combustion zone of the hydrogen catalytic burner setup. This is reached by providing a oxidant supply system comprising a gas distribution setup (1') with an oxidant diffuser (16) based on a porous open-pored ceramic foam, which distributes oxygen or air from at least one oxidant inlet in a homogenous way through hollow struts of the ceramic foam between a first catalytic hydrogen burner (10') and a second catalytic hydrogen burner (12').
