<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jet tool capable of effectively preventing scattering, out of the cover, of mist produced in shot-blasting the surfaces of concrete walls with high-pressure water of a high pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The water jet tool 10 is used by attaching to a wall surface shot-blasting apparatus 13 shot-blasting surfaces of vertical concrete walls 20 and includes a rotatable water jet spray nozzle 11, a hollow cover 12 arranged in such a way as to surround the spray nozzle 11, and a suction device 52 whose suction inlet 51 is connected with the side wall portion 53 of the lower edge part of the cover 12. In the cover 12, the side wall portions 54 and 54 of both side edge parts and the side wall portion 55 of the upper edge part have a double-wall structure provided with brush members 29a and 29b protruding forward and comprising inside walls 54a and 55a and outside walls 54b and 55b, respectively. In the clearance of the double-wall structure, the other end of a branch tube 56 with one end connected with the suction device 52 is opened as an auxiliary suction inlet 57. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
