A light emitting device comprising at least one first light source (21) adapted for, in operation, emitting first light (13) with a first spectral distribution, at least one second light source (22) adapted for, in operation, emitting second light (14) with a second spectral distribution, a light guide (4) comprising at least one first light input surface (41), at least one second light input surface (46) and a first light exit surface (42), the at least one first light input surface and the first light exit surface extending at an angle different from zero with respect to each other, and a luminescent element (77) arranged adjacent the first light exit surface, the light guide being adapted for converting at least a part of the first light (13) with the first spectral distribution to third light (17) with a third spectral distribution, guiding the second light (14) and coupling at least a part of the third light (17) and at least a part of the second light (14) out of the first light exit surface (42), the luminescent element being adapted for converting at least a part of the second light (14) to fourth light (18) with a fourth spectral distribution. |
