A microscope apparatus (100) includes a stage (2) for holding a specimen, a stand portion (1b) for holding the stage (2), an arm portion (1c) having two arms (lc-1, 1c-2) extending from an upper part of the stand portion (1b) to a front side of the microscope apparatus (100), an optical system (3) supported by the arm portion (1c) and configured to enlarge an image of the specimen on the stage (2), and gripping portions (8) provided respectively on lower parts of the two arms (1c-1, 1c-2) and configured to be gripped by an observer. |
