According to the present invention, work of maintenance of a physical node constituting a virtual network, a cable connection error, and so forth are reduced. A control apparatus includes a virtual network management unit configured to manage the virtual network using mapping information that associates configuration information on a physical network and configuration information on the virtual network and a control unit configured to set control information in the physical node on the physical network, based on the mapping information, thereby causing the physical node to operate as a virtual node on the virtual network. The control apparatus is configured to determine an assignment status of a port of the physical node with respect to the virtual network, based on the mapping information. Then, the control apparatus causes a predetermined port status display apparatus to display the assignment status of the port with respect to the virtual network. |
