PURPOSE:To manufacture a titled head which reduces electric power required to print by forming a vacant space between the bottom surface of a thick film resistor and a head base plate. CONSTITUTION:A pair of thick film conductors 4 are formed on the surface of a head base plate 3 made of a ceramic base plate 1 and a glazed layer 2, a thick fusible layer 8 having a length enough for exposing an end 8A externally from the lateral end face of the conductor 4 is formed between the conductors 4, while a thick film resistor 5 is formed across both conductors 4, and a protective film 6 is formed to cover the surface of the resistor 5. Then, it is dipped in dissolving solution to dissolve the layer 8, thereby forming a vacant space 7. |
