<p>[Problem] To provide a clean and efficient method for producing a metal complex of a compound that has a porphyrin skeleton, which does not use an organic solvent at all during the synthesis and is capable of easily separating a metal complex in a solid state from an aqueous solution of a metal salt after the reaction, and which places extremely little burden on the environment. [Solution] The above-described problem is solved by a method for producing a metal complex of a compound that has a porphyrin skeleton, wherein a compound having a porphyrin skeleton and a metal salt are caused to react with each other in water at a reaction temperature of 200-450°C (inclusive). It is preferable that tetraphenylporphyrin and a metal salt are caused to react with each other in water at a reaction temperature of 300-400°C (inclusive).</p> |
