PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food storage container capable of performing a heating operation of heating a food from a sealed storage state by an electronic range, as it is from a storage state, without any special operation such as a partial opening or a changing of fitting position of a cover.SOLUTION: The food storage container comprises a container body 10, and a cover 30 for closing an opening of the container body 10. The container body and the cover include a body side wall and a lid side wall to contact with each other. One of the body side wall and the cover side wall is equipped with an annular ring knob 38 for coming into hermetic contact with a whole circumference of the other side wall, whereas the other side wall is equipped with a sealed sliding wall 24 for hermetically contacting at a whole circumference with said ring rib at a descent position of the cover member to form a seal. At a lifted position of the cover member, the other side wall is equipped partially or wholly thereof with an air bleeder 26 released from the contact with said ring lib for forming a clearance between the container body and the lid body. |
