Ultrasound measurement of the flow speed of a fluid in a tubular conduit

The ultrasonic measuring device has multiple ultrasonic transducers which clamps between paired main measuring path and a diagnosis measuring path. The measuring paths are geometrically distributed on the cross section of a pipe (12). Some of the ultrasonic transducers have wide transmission- and receiving-lobes, so that multiple ultrasonic transducers are arranged in the transmission- and receiving lobes. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring the flow velocity of a fluid in a pipe.
