<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner improved in air-blowing performance. <P>SOLUTION: The outdoor unit for the air conditioner includes an outdoor heat exchanger that exchanges heat between the atmosphere and a refrigerant, an outdoor fan that promotes heat exchange in the outdoor heat exchanger, and a front face grille that is disposed in front of the outdoor fan. The front face grille is constituted by vertical bars radially extended from the center of the front face grille, and a plurality of circular shape horizontal bars provided from the center to the radial direction so as to cross substantially perpendicularly to the vertical bar.
