<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new microorganism producible of an antibiotic; to provide a new microorganism to be used in a method for producing the antibiotic; and especially to provide a new microorganism producible of a new antibiotic effective against multidrug-resistant bacteria, showing effectiveness at least against both MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) and VRE (vancomycin-resistant enterococci). <P>SOLUTION: The microorganism is a microorganism having an accession number NITE P-870 belonging to a genus Lysobacter, or a naturally or artificially mutated microorganism thereof.
