According to the present invention, disclosed is a container terminal system which efficiently ships, loads and unloads, and stores a container or inputs or outputs the container to or from a container terminal. The container terminal system according to the present invention comprises: an automatic main transfer area which is arranged on an inner wall side wherein the container moves along a direction parallel to an inner wall in the automatic main transfer area; a yard area which is adjacent to the automatic main transfer area wherein the container is stored in the yard area; a vehicle transfer area which is adjacently arranged to the yard area; an overhead rail unit which is installed in a direction orthogonal to the inner wall in upper parts of the automatic main transfer area, the yard area, and the vehicle transfer area; and a shuttle which moves along with the overhead rail unit and transfers the container. |
