METHOD FOR INSPECTING SENSOR ELECTRODE OF TOUCH PANNEL

A method for inspecting a sensor electrode of a touch panel is provided. The method for inspecting a sensor electrode of a touch panel comprises the steps of: aligning an upper inspection device and a lower inspection device to be matched with an upper sensor electrode and a lower sensor electrode of a touch panel; bringing the upper sensor electrode into electrical contact with an upper inspection electrode of the upper inspection device and bringing the lower sensor electrode into electrical contact with a lower inspection electrode of the lower inspection device; and inspecting the touch panel by applying an electrical signal between the upper sensor electrode and the upper inspection electrode and between the lower sensor electrode and the lower inspection electrode, wherein the upper inspection device includes multiple conductive fins formed on the upper inspection electrode, and the lower inspection device includes multiple conductive fins formed on the lower inspection electrode. According to the present invention, the sensor electrode is inspected by using the inspection device in which multiple conductive fins are formed on the inspection electrode, and thus it is possible to improve reliability of inspection by minimizing contact defects between the sensor electrode and the inspection electrode.
