<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing control device for an internal combustion engine, capable of fully suppressing vibration of an electromagnetic coil even when alternating torque from a camshaft is applied a core rotor of an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: An electric motor 12 includes: a housing 5 housing therein a core rotor 17 and an electromagnetic coil 18; a commutator 21 provided at a motor shaft 13 and electrically connected to the electromagnetic coil; first and second brushes 25a, 25b provided contactably with the commutator; and a bobbin around which the electromagnetic coil is wound via jaw parts 17a, 17b at an outer circumferential side rather than the commutator. Varnish 54 is filled in an annular space S in which a terminal 18c of a coil wire of the electromagnetic coil is connected to a folding part 21a of the commutator to retain the coil terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
