<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer that can reduce external terminals for selecting endian.SOLUTION: A flash memory 15 includes a user boot area in which a program executed in a user boot mode and its endian information are stored; and a user area in which a program executed in a user mode and its endian information are stored. A data transfer circuit 22 reads the endian information which is stored in the user boot area or the user area depending on the operation mode before releasing a reset of a CPU 11, and sets it to the CPU 11. Thus it is possible to reduce the external terminals for selecting the endian.</p> |
