<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire protection construction of a guide rail for a shutter which can improve fireproof performance without changing conventional components. <P>SOLUTION: A fire protection construction of a guide rail 11 for a shutter is provided with: a guide rail 11 for a shutter which comprises an aluminum alloy rail part 27 and an outer frame 29 and is fixed to a building frame 19; a support wall 45, vertically standing from the building frame 19, for the outer frame 29; a flange-like fixing edge 55 which is bent parallel to the building frame 19 from a support wall base 53 to be continued, and bored with a plurality of fixing holes 59 fixing the outer frame 29 to the building frame 19; and a heat foaming material 65 which is placed between the flange-like fixing edge 55 and the building frame 19.
