<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable X-ray tube device which improves cooling characteristics of an anode target. <P>SOLUTION: An X-ray tube device includes: a housing 2; an X-ray tube 1; a circulation path 6; and a circulation pump 20. The housing 2 has an inlet port taking in a coolant 3 to which a first pressure is applied and an exhaust port exhausting the coolant. The X-ray tube 1 is housed in the housing 2 and has a cathode, an anode target, a vacuum envelope, and a heat transmission surface 1s. The heat transmission surface 1s transmits heat generated as electrons collide with the anode target to the coolant 3, to which a second pressure lower than the first pressure is applied, through boiling heat transfer and connects with the exhaust port of the housing directly or indirectly through a joint. The circulation path 6 is formed in an area of the housing 2 which is located between the inlet port and the exhaust port, houses the coolant 3, and includes the heat transmission surface 1s. The circulation pump 20 is attached to an area located between the inlet port and the exhaust port of the housing 20 and circulates the coolant 3 between itself and the circulation path 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
