In a head adjustment method, a head-driving device, and an image-forming device in one embodiment of the present invention, the amount of misregistration of each of a plurality of head modules (12-1 to 12-5) is measured with reference to a position of a slowest module (12-5) among the plurality of head modules, the slowest module being arranged on a most downstream side in a feeding direction of a recording medium with respect to a line head (10), and then, a value corresponding to an amount acquired by adding the amount of an offset (Fs) more than a mounting tolerance of the head modules in the direction parallel to the feeding direction to the amount of misregistration is set as the amount of correction of each of the head modules. Recording timing of each of the head modules is controlled on the basis of the amount of correction. In a case where a part of the head modules has been replaced, the amount of correction can be corrected for only the replaced module. Accordingly, it is possible to facilitate adjustment of a recording position in a Y-direction (feeding direction of a paper sheet) in a case where a head module is replaced in a line head composed of a plurality of head modules. |
