PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of hardware, by making a frequency variable circuit and a duty variable circuit common and using the circuits switchingly with a control signal. CONSTITUTION:A control gate 16 is inserted to an output of a trigger FF with a conventional device. When a control signal 17 being an output of a controller 14 is ''1'', an output Q of the FF7 is given as it is to inverting circuits 10, 11. When the control signal 17 is ''0'', an output of the control gate 16 is always ''0'' and the circuits 10, 11 operate as inverting circuits at all times without inversion/noninversion. The content of data latches 12, 13 is always applied to a reset terminal R of FFs 3, 4. Thus, through the addition of the simple control gate 16, since a duty variable or a frequency variable output can be obtained, hardware having very high efficiency of usage can easily be realized. |
