The present invention relates to a touch panel and, more specifically, to a touch panel disposed on a viewing side of a display panel. The touch panel includes: a detection pattern which is formed on one side of the viewing side of a substrate; a trace which is disposed on an upper side of a region corresponding to the boundary between pixels of the display panel on the one side of the viewing side and connects the detection pattern to a pad part; a metal assistance pattern which is formed on the trace; and a light interruption layer which is formed on the metal assistance pattern, thereby showing improved touch sensitivity and superior transmittance and minimizing a problem with visibility.
