<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing collimator modules for multirow X-ray detectors capable of removing scattered rays in a channel direction and a slice direction and being easily manufactured.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing collimator modules in which wall plates having X-ray absorbability are formed into a grid shape in the channel direction and the slice direction in a multirow X-ray detector of an X-ray CT apparatus is provided. The method for manufacturing collimator modules includes the steps of: superposing and sticking, in the channel direction, a plurality of first X-ray absorption members, the channel direction of which is defined as the plate thickness direction, that have such a plate shape that both plate surfaces are substantially parallel to the irradiation direction of X-ray beams, that are formed with, on one plate surface, a plurality of recesses extending along the irradiation direction of the X-ray beams; and removing end portions that close, in the irradiation direction of the X-ray beams, spaces corresponding to the recesses in the plurality of superposed first X-ray absorption members.</p> |
