A valve assembly includes a valve plate (110) having an inlet hole (111) through which working fluid passes from a vacuum muffler (200), a first discharge hole (112) through which working fluid discharged from a cylinder passes, a second discharge hole (113) through which the working fluid from the first discharge hole (112) passes, and a pulsation and/or noise reducing passage (101) through which the working fluid from the second discharge hole (113) flows; a discharge valve (120) at or in the valve plate (110) configured to open and/or close the first discharge hole (112); a valve sheet (130) having a first hole (131) therein communicating with the first discharge hole (112) and a second hole (132) therein at an outlet of the pulsation and/or noise reducing passage (101); and a vacuum valve (140) in the valve sheet (130) configured to open and/or close the inlet hole (111). |
