<p>A socket assembly (3) for use together with a retractable or detachable tow hook (2) for a vehicle is disclosed. The socket assembly (3) comprises a socket (4) for providing an electrical connection between a trailer or load carrier and the vehicle. The socket assembly (3) is adapted to be mounted to the vehicle, and the socket (4) is arranged to be movable between a retracted position and a use position. The socket assembly comprises a locking mechanism for locking the socket in the use position, whereby the locking mechanism is adapted to be locked such as to prevent the socket (4) to be moved from the use position to the retracted position.</p> |
