Provided are a system and a method for preventing solder deterioration of a screen printer. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the system for preventing solder deterioration of a screen printer performs printing on a substrate supplied through an entrance station at a workstation and expels the printed substrate through an exit station. The system for preventing solder deterioration of a screen printer includes: a sensing unit which senses the substrate passing through the exit station and transmits the sensing signal; a driving unit which moves a stage part for the substrate supported by the stage part at the workstation to be stuck to or separated from a screen mask having a predetermined opening pattern; and a control unit which receives a transfer signal generated on the basis of the sensing signal and controls the driving unit in accordance with the transfer signal.
