<p>The purpose of the present invention is to enable a cover to be more reliably held in position in relation to a fixing plate in the direction in which these components are arranged during fixing of the cover to the fixing plate. An airbag device comprises an airbag, an inflator, a cover for covering the folded airbag, and a fixing plate provided on the back side of the cover in a state in which the airbag and the inflator are attached thereto. A fixing piece extending toward the fixing plate is protrudingly provided to the cover, and a fixing hole disposed so that the fixing piece is inserted therein is formed in the fixing plate. A first contacting part facing the proximal-end side of the fixing piece, and a second contacting part facing the distal-end side of the fixing piece are formed on the fixing piece. A receiving part for making contact with the first contacting part from the proximal-end side of the fixing piece is formed on the fixing plate, and a pushing part capable of making contact with the second contacting part from the distal-end side of the fixing piece is formed on the fixing plate.</p> |
