[Class 53.] Separators.-Storage battery electrodes are enclosed in envelopes made up of porous rubber sheets joined together by adhesive. A solution of celluloid in acetone may be used or a strip of celluloid covered with a layer of celluloid solution may be pressed between the porous sheets. Porous rubber solution may also be connected by means of rubber strips and rubber solution and vulcanization. Substances which can be melted by heat such as pitch or guttapercha may also be used.
