<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform nitriding treatment of an internal surface of an object having a depth such as a pipe by using Hollow Cathode Discharge:HCD.SOLUTION: A hollow body or an engraved member itself to be subjected to a nitriding treatment is utilized as a cathode, and a conductive jig system capable of fixing such a workpiece 900 up to the number of several thousand is designed. A power source 400 is applied to the jig system to allow the hollow body or the engraved member itself to work as a hollow cathode, and then hollow cathode discharge is generated in the inside space, to thereby perform the nitriding treatment of the internal surface of the engraved member by generated plasma.</p> |
