<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine capable of enhancing mold clamping efficiency by a multipolar electromagnet. <P>SOLUTION: An injection molding machine has a first fixing member 11 to which a fixed mold 15 is attached, a first movable member 12 to which a movable mold 16 is attached, a second movable member 22 moving along with the first movable member 12, a second fixed member 13 arranged between the first movable member 12 and the second movable member 22, and a rod 39 passing through the second fixed member 13 and coupling the first movable member 12 and the second movable member 22. One of the second fixed member 13 and the second movable member 22 holds a plurality of coils 48A to 48D of the electromagnet 49, attracting the other and generating mold clamping force.
