<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taxi fare payment method which is different from a conventional payment method by cash or a credit card in a mobile station. <P>SOLUTION: In a wireless system for taxis having multiple mobile stations communicable with a base station by radio and a management device connected to the base station, the management device has a customer master for storing each customer ID and his/her telephone number in association with each other and a customer charge table for storing each customer ID and his/her use charge in association with each other. In receiving a taxi dispatch request by phone, when the telephone number is registered in the customer master and a deferred payment system is applied for use of a taxi, the management device transmits deferred payment information indicating that the fare is to be charged later and taxi dispatch instruction information to a corresponding mobile station, while, when the telephone number is not registered in the customer master and the deferred payment system is not applied, it transmits only the taxi dispatch instruction information to the corresponding mobile station.
