A locator device includes a body and a locator system carried by the body. The locator system includes an antenna and a power system operably associated with the antenna. The power system includes a transducer and a capacitor. The method includes harvesting electrical energy with a transducer, charging a capacitor with the harvested energy from the transducer, and powering a device operably associated with the capacitor.
