<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain toner for electrostatic charge image development excellent in low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant preservability with high grindability and high yield of grinding classification. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing toner for electrostatic charge image development, the method comprising a step 1 of melting and kneading a component containing a binder resin and a colorant to obtain a molten kneaded material and a step 2 of pulverizing and classifying the resulting molten kneaded material. The binder resin contains: a polyester A obtained by polycondensing an alcohol component containing an aliphatic diol having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, a rosin compound and a carboxylic acid component containing an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid compound having 6 to 10 carbon atoms; and a polyester B obtained by polycondensing an alcohol component containing an ethylene oxide adduct of bisphenol A represented by the formula (Ia) and a carboxylic acid component. The content of the polyester B is 4 to 20 wt.% in the binder resin, and the content of the ethylene oxide adduct of bisphenol A represented by the formula (Ia) is 45 mol% or more in the alcohol component of the polyester B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
