<p>An image forming apparatus comprises: an extraction unit that analyzes an input print job and extracts a color used in a plurality of pages of the print job; a forming unit configured to form a patch image of the color extracted by the extraction unit; a determining unit configured to measure the patch image formed by the forming unit and to determine an amount of color fluctuation from a reference value for the extracted color; and a correction unit configured, when printing the input print job, to correct the extracted color by using the amount of color fluctuation determined by the determining unit.</p> |
