摘要 A perfusion device and a delivery system for repair of a damaged portion of a body vessel. Perfusion device can include a tubular body that is self-expandable, having a proximal portion, a distal portion, and an intermediate portion. One or more series of barbs can be disposed circumferentially along the intermediate portion. Barbs are capable of penetrating into the tunica intima and tunica media of said vessel wall upon insertion of said device into said body vessel, and not into said tunica adventitia. A graft can be associated with the tubular body. Graft has a proximal end and a distal end, and preferably extends entirely along a luminal wall of the tubular body. Graft may also extend along an exterior surface of the tubular body at the proximal and distal portions. A remodelable covering can be applied along the intermediate portion. Delivery devices for the perfusion implant and methods of delivering the perfusion implant are also provided.

A perfusion device for repair of a damaged portion of a body vessel, comprising: a tubular body being radially self-expandable from a compressed configuration to an expanded configuration, the tubular body having a proximal end and a distal end and defining a lumen about a longitudinal axis, the tubular body comprising a plurality of cells comprising a plurality of struts and bends interconnected to the struts; wherein a proximal cell and a distal cell each comprises integral barbs directed away from the proximal and distal portions respectively, each of the barbs being integral with the bends interconnecting two adjacent struts, the two adjacent struts interconnected by the bend and integral barb expanding away from each other as the tubular body expands to the expanded configuration and being angularly oriented with respect to each other in the expanded configuration, each of the barbs comprising a sharp tip, a heel, and a beveled surface extending between the heel and the sharp tip, and the struts connected to the barbs being deflected radially outward from an outer circumference of the tubular body in the expanded configuration, the barbs thereby being self-expanding outward from the outer circumference of the tubular body; wherein each of the two adjacent struts interconnected by the bend and integral barb comprises a first portion located away from the barbs and a second portion located adjacent the barbs, the first portion not being deflected radially outward and being disposed within the outer circumference of the tubular body and the second portion being deflected radially outward in the expanded configuration to form a deflected configuration of the second portion, the first portion being 25% to 50% of the entire length of each strut, and each of the two adjacent struts is defined by an inner surface extending to the sharp tip and an outer surface extending to the heel, the inner surface and the sharp tip being aligned with an inner surface defining the tubular body in the compressed configuration, the outer surface and the heel being aligned with an outer surface defining the tubular body in the compressed configuration, and the beveled surface extending across an entire thickness of the struts from the outer surface to the inner surface, and wherein the second portion self-expands to the deflected configuration upon expansion of the tubular body to the expanded configuration; and a graft attached to at least a portion of the tubular body.
