A filter for fuels and lubricants for use in engines, such as internal combustion engines, includes a vessel having an inlet and an outlet for fuels, lubricants and other fluids, which contains a multiplicity of layers of a thin, non-woven fabric. The non-woven fabric includes in a first part made of permanently elastic fibers and, in a second part, flexible, soft strips, which are at least twice as wide as the permanently elastic fibers and with the average distance between the fibers and the strips being a multiplicity of the width of the flexible, soft strips. |
