The present invention relates to a slowly arriving stage fire curtain device using a sub-weight and a control method thereof. The slowly moving stage fire curtain device using a sub-weight comprises: a fire curtain (20) linked to a fire signal or a console signal to release an operation of a brake (4) of a motor (3) to drive the fire curtain, and linked to a drive wire (2) to lower the fire curtain to a floor surface in two steps of a high speed and a low speed; a main weight (30) linked to a weight wire (7) to apply a heavy weight to prevent free fall from a weight guide pulley (8) besides the drive wire (2) linked to a drive guide pulley (6) installed in a grid iron (1), and rise from a standby position in the two steps of the high speed and the low speed when the fire curtain (20) is lowered; a sub-weight (50) linked to an auxiliary wire (31) whose one end is mounted on a lower end of the main weight to rise when the auxiliary wire (31) passes through a first guide roller (41) connected to an additional cylinder rod and a second guide roller (42) installed in a vicinity of a side of the grid iron (1) when the main weight rises at high speeds, and stops when a lower end of the fire curtain (20) reaches a point of time when a second lowering height (H3) begins past a first lowering height (H2) where the fire curtain (20) is lowered at high speeds; a hydraulic cylinder (60) vertically installed to raise a cylinder rod (62) supporting the first guide roller (41) on the point of time when the sub-weight (50) stops rising in the vicinity of a bottom of the fire curtain (20), reducing a moving speed of the fire curtain (20) and the main weight (30) to arrive at low speeds; and a control board (10) to control drive of the fire curtain by operating a brake (4). |
