PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve power saving by positively and finely controlling the on/off-states of a microphone sensor and a motion sensor provided in a remote controller.SOLUTION: A remote control system includes: a microphone sensor 191 for detecting a voice issued by a user; a motion sensor 192 for detecting the inclination of a remote controller 100 main body which performs radio communication with a control object; and switching means 194 for, when voice analysis is not executable on the basis of the detection result of the microphone sensor 191, switching the motion sensor 192 to an on-state. The remote control system includes: determination means for determining whether or not the inclination of the remote controller 100 is desirable on the basis of the detection result of the motion sensor 192; and a television as notification means for, when the determination result indicates that the inclination of the remote controller is not desirable, promoting the correction of the inclination of the remote controller. |
