In a manual binding, a sheet bundle loaded on the intermediate processing tray, with sheets possible to be loaded on the intermediate processing tray manually along a direction different from the sheet transportation direction in the transportation path, can be bound with the stapler 132. On a die 604 of the stapler 132 and a slide support plate 605, recesses 604c, 605d extended in a plurality of different directions from the binding portion of the sheet bundle are provided. |
