PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric element and a piezoelectric vibrator.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric element of the present invention includes a plurality of ceramic piezoelectric layers, an electrode pattern configured of the plurality of ceramic piezoelectric layers and alternately laminated electrodes, and a first cover layer which is laminated on the ceramic piezoelectric layer located on a top layer and covers an uppermost electrode of the electrode pattern. A grain size of the first cover layer is larger than a grain size of at least one of the plurality of ceramic piezoelectric layers.
