PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain characteristic shape of model data, while reducing processing time.SOLUTION: A data generation device includes: acquisition means for acquiring three-dimensional point group data of an object; conversion means for converting the acquired three-dimensional point group data to polygon data; first distance calculation means which calculates distance between each point of the polygon data and a corresponding plane of model data, on the basis of the polygon data and the model data of a preset object; second distance calculation means which determines a smoothing point in the point group of the polygon data, to calculate the distance between the smoothing point and each point of adjacent polygon data; and moving means which calculates a moving position of each point of the polygon data by applying a predetermined filter, on the basis of the distance calculated in the first distance calculation section and the distance calculated in the second distance calculation section, to move the points according to the calculated moving positions. |
