The present invention relates to a skin care apparatus using light irradiation. The skin care apparatus using light irradiation comprises: a reflection amount detection unit which detects the amount of light reflected from the skin of a user to output a signal in a corresponding condition; a mode selection unit which outputs a signal corresponding to a selected skin management mode; a control unit which is connected to the reflection amount detection unit and the mode selection unit; a light source unit which is connected to the control unit, and includes at least two light source parts which output lights having different colors; an optical coupler connected to the light source unit; and a plurality of optical fibers connected to the optical coupler. The control unit: determines the skin condition of the user by using the signal output from the reflection amount detection unit; determines the skin management mode selected by using the signal output from the mode selection unit; chooses at least one color of light output according to the skin condition and the selected skin management mode; and outputs an operation signal in the condition chosen by the chosen light color. Accordingly, the skin care apparatus according to the present invention emits light toward skin by using the optical fibers, thereby increasing the uniformity of light emitted on the skin, and enhancing the diffusion range. |
