<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery suppressing the generation of a seal failure in a liquid injection hole sealed with a sealing member, and a manufacturing method of the sealed battery. <P>SOLUTION: A sealed battery 10 includes: a battery container 2; a liquid injection hole 4 formed to open on the battery container 2, for injecting an electrolyte; an annular gasket 7 disposed around the liquid injection hole 4; and a blind rivet 6 for sealing the liquid injection hole 4. The battery container 2 has a burring portion 5 formed so as to project out toward the outside of the battery container 2 at a peripheral edge of the liquid injection hole 4. While the gasket 7 is disposed at an outer peripheral portion of the burring portion 5, when the gasket 7 is compressed by the blind rivet 6 to seal the liquid injection hole 4, compressed dimensions of the gasket 7 is regulated by heigh dimensions of the burring portion 5, thereby sealing the liquid injection hole 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
