PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a multilayer ceramic electronic component capable of manufacturing a highly reliable multilayer ceramic electronic component efficiently, by coating the surface of a ceramic laminate while preventing the coated members, i.e., ceramic laminates, from fixing (sticking) via a coating material.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a multilayer ceramic electronic component includes a step of coating the surface of a ceramic laminate, by blending a plurality of ceramic laminates (coated members) 1, and a spherical media M having a spherical shape, and blocking surface contact of the ceramic laminates by interposing therebetween, so that the ratio of the spherical media to the total amount of the ceramic laminates and spherical media is 10 vol% or more, and then adding a coating material 23 and stirring. Diameter of the spherical media is 0.5-2 times of the long side of the ceramic laminates. |
