PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booster circuit or the like of which the boosting performance is improved and which is capable pf preventing energy efficiency from being reduced.SOLUTION: The booster circuit includes: a rectifier circuit which includes diodes D1-D4 connected in a bridge shape and rectifies an AC voltage inputted from an AC power source 40 via wiring c1 and c2; a capacitor 101 for smoothing a voltage inputted from the rectifier circuit; boosting reactors L1 and L2 provided in the wiring c1 and c2; a switch 102 and a short-circuiting control section 105 for switching whether to short-circuit the reactors L1 and L2 via the AC power source 40; and diodes D5 and D6 which are disposed in such a manner that a current from the AC power source 40 can be circulated while bypassing one of the reactors L1 and L2 in the state where the short-circuiting is not performed. |
